Eng. Jamal Abdulkadir Mohamed, representing Jamhuriya Incubation Center (JIC), has successfully completed a Professional Training of Trainers (ToT) in Digital Marketing and E-commerce at iLabAfrica – Strathmore University, Nairobi, Kenya, under the YEPS II Project.

The professional training provided an important opportunity to strengthen both technical and facilitation capacities in areas that are increasingly important to Somalia’s growing digital economy. Throughout the program, Eng. Jamal enhanced his knowledge and practical understanding of digital marketing strategies, e-commerce solutions, entrepreneurship support, online business development, and effective training delivery methodologies.

The Training of Trainers approach goes beyond individual professional development. It strengthens the ability of participants to transfer knowledge, facilitate practical learning, mentor young people and entrepreneurs, and support others in developing market-relevant digital skills.

Through this regional learning opportunity, Eng. Jamal is further equipped to contribute to JIC’s efforts to expand access to quality digital skills training and support aspiring entrepreneurs in using digital platforms to promote their businesses, reach customers, access new markets, and create sustainable income opportunities.

The training also reinforces JIC’s commitment to continuously investing in the capacity of its team so that the knowledge and expertise gained through international and regional opportunities can be shared locally and translated into meaningful learning opportunities for Somali youth and entrepreneurs.

The program was supported by JICA – Japan International Cooperation Agency and implemented in collaboration with Somalia’s Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA) and other partners.
