Students enrolled in the Professional Solar PV Program participated in an engaging experience-sharing seminar designed to connect their classroom learning with real-world developments in Somalia’s solar energy industry.
The seminar provided participants with valuable insights into the current solar energy market, emerging employment and career opportunities, and the different solar PV systems and solutions currently in high demand. Students also gained practical perspectives on customer relations and service delivery, as well as effective troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis techniques—essential skills for professionals working in the renewable energy sector.
The session offered students an opportunity to learn directly from industry experience, better understand the realities of the solar energy market, and explore how they can build successful careers in Somalia’s growing renewable energy industry.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Eng. Mohamed Abdirahman Mohamud, CTO of Sun Arating, for generously sharing his professional experience, technical knowledge, and valuable insights with our students.
At Jamhuriya Incubation Center (JIC), we remain committed to complementing technical education with industry exposure, practical knowledge, and career-oriented learning opportunities that prepare young people for the evolving demands of the labor market.
From Knowledge to Practice. From Skills to Careers. Building Somalia’s Renewable Energy Future.
