The senior management team of Jamhuriya University of Science & Technology, led by the university’s president, 𝐄𝐧𝐠. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐝, recently paid an official visit to the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The delegation was warmly received by 𝐇.𝐄. 𝐘𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐧, the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, along with senior directors from the ministry.

During the meeting, fruitful discussions took place regarding potential collaboration between the ministry and the university, particularly in empowering Somali youth with the skills needed to excel in the workforce and creating meaningful job opportunities. The university’s management shared their ongoing initiatives, with a special focus on the impactful work being carried out through the Jamhuriya Incubation Center (JIC). These efforts aim to develop the skills of Somali youth and contribute to reducing unemployment.

The minister praised Jamhuriya University for its remarkable contributions to the Somali community, particularly in education, innovation, and youth empowerment. He further expressed the ministry’s commitment to establishing strong cooperation with the university to achieve shared objectives, ensuring a brighter future for Somali youth.
