We are proud to announce a strategic partnership between Jamhuriya Incubation Center (JIC), Coursera, the United Nations Transitional Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNTMIS), and the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) to expand access to world-class digital learning opportunities for Somali youth.

Through this partnership, Somali young people will have greater access to high-quality online education, professional development, and globally recognized digital skills through Coursera. The initiative aims to equip young Somalis with practical and future-ready skills that can help them pursue meaningful careers, grow their businesses, and actively participate in Somalia’s growing digital economy.

Together, we are transforming skills into sustainable opportunities by connecting Somali youth with knowledge, learning resources, and skills that are increasingly essential in today’s rapidly changing world of work.

This initiative will contribute to:
